Paul Slater – Manager, Business Development
Paul's career in the financial services industry began in 1991 with the Toronto-Dominion Bank where he held various senior positions in their retail and commercial banking divisions. In 2000, Paul moved into the equipment leasing industry, first joining TD's Asset Finance group, then moving over to CIT Financial Ltd.'s Commercial & Industrial team as Regional Sales Manager for Southern and Southwestern Ontario.
The global economic crisis that began in late 2007 caused dramatic changes in the equipment leasing industry, including the closure of several major leasing companies and various other funding sources. Paul's decision to join Aegis in 2011 was due, in large part, to his desire to provide his clients with greater stability and comfort by having access to a wide variety of lending sources. His focus is to provide the best customer service with creative and competitive solutions for all of his clients' equipment financing needs.
